The 2009 Auburn Tigers have the makings of team that can win the SEC Championship and make lots of noise in the BCS. Is this the year Tommy Tuberville gets his team to the Promised Land? Led by running backs Brad Lester and Ben Tate, a duo who reminds some of the Williams/Brown combination from Auburn's undefeated season in 2004, the Tigers are looking to run right through opposing defenses. On the defensive side of the ball, Auburn looks even stronger. There is talent up and down the defensive roster and it should keep the Tigers in every game they play. If the offense can simply protect the ball and score a few points, Auburn will be looking the BCS Championship directly in the eye in December.

This is the nation's eighth largest on-campus facility and is entering its 65th year as home to the Auburn Tigers! Auburn becomes the Alabama's fifth largest city on game days. The stadium is named after Ralph "Shug" Jordan who is Auburn's winningest football coach and Clifford Leroy Hare who is a member of Auburn's first football team, president of the old Southern Conference, and longtime chairman of Auburn's Faculty Athletic Committee.
